Sharing this post, Yami Gautam wrote in the caption, ‘I consider Bala one of the most important films for me in my professional career. I still remember my first day on the sets. This was the scene where Pari learns that ‘My husband is Ganja’! My nervousness was just the same as what Amar Kaushik believed in me.
I asked my director why he wants to start shooting with such a challenging scene and nothing is easy, but he told me to trust him and do it.
Yami further writes, ‘And he was right, this was the first take and I think this was the moment that set the tone for Pari. And the journey ahead was only one of fun or as Amar said ‘let’s play’. It’s been 2 years since Bala and all these lovely memories are etched in my heart. Working with a talented crew and cast – Amar, Dinesh, Ayushmann, Bhumi Working on one of the best-written scripts was an incredible journey and one of my most cherished moments.’
